Gallery General Guidelines
Guidelines for Exhibiting Art – BYU HFAC Galleries
- Advisor Signature Approval: All student applicants must receive a signature of approval from a DVA faculty advisor in order to exhibit artwork in the HFAC. A signature is required on the Display Clearance Form prior to the installation of work.
- Art works that advocate practices contrary to the aims of the governing institution will be excluded from display.
- Exhibition should display works that demonstrate quality, skill, and craftsmanship in both concept and execution.
- The HFAC Galleries have a commitment to be thoughtful and sensitive in displaying works of art dealing with the draped or undraped figure. The undraped figure will generally be reserved to Gallery 303, a more secure location allowing for notification of the public regarding the work on display prior to entering the space.
